ROD BOLTS - We only supply premium grade ARP fasteners with our connecting rods for a complete high performance package.
ROD MATERIAL - With a proven H beam design and high quality AISI 4340 (En 24) steel, our connecting rods offer lighter weight with higher RPM potential. The connecting rods are polished before full coverage shot peening for enhanced fatigue strength, ensuring longer operation at higher RPM.
BLACK PASTE - Special dry-film lubricant to aid piston/bore break-in, reduce scuffing and decrease friction levels.
RING LAND - Careful control of piston alloy composition and skirt profile allow tighter piston to bore clearance greatly reducing "piston slap" during engine warm-up.
PISTON CROWN - CNC machined to a mirror finish for better knock control and lower piston crown temperatures.

Because we do all our own CAD and CNC work, we can specially modify pistons to lower compression ratios suitable for bigger boost applications at a very nominally increased cost (typically £25-£40 per piston).
We also supply specially machined one-off pistons for low comp turbo use in big HP engines. Please ask us for details on your specific application.
